On March 11th, the first ever World Team Trophy will be in full swing near Paris, France.
In their common quest for the Olympic Dream, the WCBS, the French Billiards Federation (FFB) and the Billiards 2024 committee keep up their effort and launch the first-ever World Team Trophy, a brand-new format of of team billiards tournament revolving around parity and universality.
The same number of women and men teams from all over the World will compete simultaneously in Snooker, Carom (3-cushion), and Pool (9-Ball). This groundbreaking competition format is meant to prefigurate the 2021 World Games, and possibly future Olympic Games.
