The ladies of the NW Women's Pool Association made their way to Jillians in Seattle, WA for their June tour stop. Although Martha Hartsell took home 1st place at the tour opener in April, that was without Hsin Huang in attendance. Huang made her comeback to the tour and the other players would have their hands full trying to keep her from the winners circle.
Huang took the hot-seat with a win over Kit Dennis and got comfortable waiting for an opponent in the finals. Huang's opponent in the finals would be AzBilliards columnist Kerry Impson, who defeated Dennis 7-3.
This tournament looked like it would be the end of Huang's run as Impson held an early 7-5 lead. Impson got to the hill first, but was not able to make it over as Huang won the match hill-hill for yet another NWPA victory.
Huang pocketed $435 for first, while Impson took home $208 for second. Dennis and Regene Springett filled out the top four spots.
The NWPA tour will be at McQs in Spokane, WA on July 16th-17th for a WPBA qualifier. Huang will not be elegible to win that qualifier.
