PJ's Billiards in Linden NJ was the site of the Hampton Ridge 9 ball tour 3rd stop. A strong field of 22 came out to play. Leading the way on the top half of the winners side was Gerard Soriano with wins over Bob Mapes 7-0, Robert Kay 7-2 and Matt Krah 7-5.
Leading the way on the bottom half of the bracket was lee Holt with wims over Joe Scott 7-1, Lester Smulouitz 7-5and Wali Muhammad 7-1.
Fighting for the hot seat is Lee Holt Vs Gerard Soriano. Lee jumped into an early lead and never looked back winning the match 7-4 and knocking Soriano to the one lost side.
On the one loss side it was Dennis Spears going through the field winning 6 matches in a row until he met up with Gerard Soriano. Soriano was to much for Spears who looked like he just ran out of gas. Soranio won the match running away 7-4.
With the win it gives him another shot at Holt. In the finals it was Lee Holt vs Gerard Soriano. Soriano jumped to an early 5-1 lead but the day belonged to Lee Holt who did not quit and came storming back to win the match 9-6 giving him his first win of the year and the points lead.
