Day two is complete at the WPBA Pacific Coast Classic and the field has been narrowed to the final twenty four players.
The final eight unbeaten players are Allison Fisher, Jeanette Lee, Ga-Young Kim, Monica Webb, Gerda Hofstatter, Anna Kostanian, Line Kjorsvik and Filipino newcomer Iris Ranola.
Ranola defeated tour veteran Vivian Villarreal 9-7 to earn her place in the final eight undefeated players, while Gerda Hofstatter scored an identical 9-7 win over Xiao-Ting Pan. The win was Hofstatter's first WPBA Tour win over Pan. Jeanette Lee is looking particularly strong again in this event after one sided wins over Bonnie Plowman, Melissa Little and Ewa Laurance.
Players still fighting it out on the one loss side include Xiao-Ting Pan, Helena Thornfeldt, Melissa Herndon, Kim Shaw, Yu-Ram Cha, Karen Corr, Ewa Laurance, Sarah Rousey, Vivian Villarreal and Kelly Fisher.
