Day one is complete at the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour event at Classic Billiards, and the field has been narrowed from 59 players down to twelve.
The winners side is down to four players with Earl Strickland squaring off against Danny Hewitt and Ian Costello playing Keith McCready on Sunday morning. Top players still playing on the one loss side include Santos Sambajon, Charlie Williams, Evgeny Stalev, Mike Zuglan and Alex Pagulayan.
Matches on Saturday lasted longer than expected, so the exhibition by Strickland and McCready was cancelled.
