The
Fast Eddie's N. W. Military location in San Antonio saw 15 ladies sign
up to participate in the 2007 Season Finale. They were modest in
numbers, but rich in talent.
The top “Lady Player of the Year” honor was awarded to Kyu Yi at the player's meeting as Kyu had an incredible year of play. Congratulations.
Top picks for December were, Kyu, Heather Lloyd, Helen Hayes, and Melinda Hinojosa.
Finishing in fourth place with continued good play was Melinda Hinojosa of the Fort Worth area. Melinda Gayle took home $75 for her fine play.
Helen Hayes won the November event in Houston and came ready to play again as is evident by her nice third place finish. Helen took home $165.
The hot seat match was between Kyu and the lovely Heather Lloyd of the Austin area. None are strangers to this situation and both play very well indeed. Kyu captured the hot seat, but Heather rushed over to dispense Helen and return to face Kyu again.
Heather, playing determined pool, defeated Kyu twice to claim the Season Finale Title for the second year in a row and had every right to be quite proud of herself.
Kyu took home $330 for her day's work. She had a very good year.
Heather, for her work took home a well deserved $545. She earned every nickel.
Congratulations to Heather and Kyu and to all the ladies. You make it fun and we appreciate your participation and support.
There are so many people to thank and give credit and there just doesn't seem to be a fair place to start, but let's start with the most important, the players and tour members, themselves. Without your support and participation, none of this exists. It has truly been a pleasure for us at PKL and we thank you.

I hope pool players in this region understand what true fiends you are.
