The Hard Times Summer Jamboree kicked off on Tuesday with 38 players competing in the $5000 added one pocket division.
Traditionally held right after the Reno Open, the Summer Jamboree usually draws a fair amount of the top players from Reno. This year is no exception with Dennis Orcollo, Jose Parica, Santos Sambajon, Warren Kiamco, Tony Chohan and Tyler Edey all playing in the one pocket event with more top players expected for the 9-ball event later in the week.
Day one was not without it's upsets as Frank Nordmann beat Jose Parica 3-0 and Ed Ames beat Santos Sambajon 3-2 in the first round. Almost all of the first two rounds were complete at the time of this writing, and the winners side includes Tyler Edey, John Macias, Billy Palmer, Tony Chohan, Mark Haddad, Warren Kiamco and Dennis Orcollo.
Online brackets are posted for the one pocket division and will be updated all week.
