The long awaited Great Southern Billiard Tour's Players 10-Ball Championship is finally underway at King Street Billiards located at 128 South King Street in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Tuesday begins the week-long pool extravaganza with a $5,000 guaranteed added one-pocket event (limited to 64 players) that kicks off on Thursday at 12 pm; and a $20,000 guaranteed added ten-ball event that started up this evening with seventy-four players on-hand.
Many top names made their way to North Carolina including Tony “T-Rex” Chohan, Mike “Iron Mike” Davis, Shannon Daulton, Larry “The Truth” Nevel, Shane Van Boening, Corey Deuel, Stevie Moore, Cliff Joyner, along with plenty of up-and-comers including Virginia's Brandon Shuff and Larry Kressel, Jared McGee, Marc Vidal, Beau Runningen, and the list goes on.
There is only one round of ten-ball being played this evening, but play will continue on Wednesday at 12 pm, 2pm, 4pm, 7pm, and 9 pm. Also, if you plan to enter the one-pocket event, there are limited spots remaining so make sure you are not missing out.
