After the break for the US Open, the Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour got back into action this weekend at Fastbreak Billiards in Longwood, Florida. David Grossman came back from the one loss side to defeat Tommy Kennedy 9-4 and 9-5 in the double elimination finals for the tournament win. Grossman was actually trailing Charlie Williams in the semi-final match 6-2 before he won 7 games in a row to defeat Williams and set up the match with Kennedy.
Grossman pocketed $705 for the win with Kennedy taking $500 for second. Williams and Luis Viera filled out the top 4 spots earning $400 and $300 respectively.
