Greg Jenkins has won the 2004 Australian Open 9-ball Championship.
41 of the best 9-ball players from Australia and New Zealand competed in the event, played in Sydney, Australia at the Cuesports Centre in Penrith. After section play over 2 days, the final 16 players were decided with Jenkins finishing as the No.1 seed. He continued that form to go undefeated through the event where he defeated last years winner, Bruce Wilkinson of New Zealand, convincingly 11-4 in the final.
Hazel Cook of New Zealand won the women's division 8-2, defeating Dianne Wilkinson (Bruces wife), in the final.
