Gail Grecar turned in an undefeated performance to win the Jacoby Custom Cues Great Lakes Tour Stop at Hall of Fame Billiards in Warren, MI this weekend.
The field was 33 players strong and it was Grecar and Tina Larson making it to the match for the hot-seat on Sunday. Grecar had just won a hill-hill thriller against CJ Jerome, and Larson had crushed India Slaughter 7-0 to get there. Grecar took the hot-seat with a 7-4 win.
On the one-loss side, Larson met up with Sunny Ulrich from Battlecreek. Larson had beaten Ulrich 7-4 on Saturday, and Ulrich was only able to earn one more game in the rematch as Larson won 7-5.
The rematch between Grecar and Larson was a mirror of the first match, with Grecar cruising to a 9-4 win.
Grecar pocketed $475 plus a qualifier to the upcoming WPBA Great Lakes Classic in Michigan City, IN. Larson earned $280 while Ulrich and Jerome filled out the top four spots.
The Great Lakes Tour will be at Pockets in Crestwood, IL on February 19th-20th for their next event.
