Lincoln, Nebraska – Mueller Recreational Products proudly announces that 2004 U.S. Open Winner, Gabe Owen has signed on with their company as his sponsor. With many successes under his belt, Gabe Owen has been featured on the front magazine covers of Billiard Digest and Professor-Q-Ball's National Pool & Carom News, as well as coverage in other trade Magazines.
Hot on the road to success, Gabe Owen hails from the Midwest. Learning to play pool at the young age of 14, Gabe has been earning a living playing pool since he was only 17 years old. Since that time he has gone onto with the 2004 U.S. Open Championship, the 2004 Midwest Open One Pocket Championship in Chicago and is the two time Corpus Christi 9-ball Champion of 2003-2004. Gabe was also a member of the Mosconi Cup Championship Team in 2004. Some of Gabe's more recent wins, include 2005 Winner of the U.S. Open 8-Ball Tournament at Reno, NV, 2005 Winner of the Texas State 9-Ball Open at Austin, TX, 2005 Winner of the Carolina One Pocket Open and 2005 winner of the Houston 9-Ball Open.
