On the sixth day of the European Billiards Championships in Brandenburg/Germany there was only one medal decision. Frédéric Caudron could defend his title in the One-Cushion-Event. The final against Frenchman Bernard Villiers was a close match at the beginning until the Belgian had some runs to make it 120:71-points
Third place and therefore the bronze medal went to the Dutchman Jean-Paul de Bruijn and Villiers' compatriot Alain Remond.
