The Seminole Florida Pro Tour stop will be down to just sixteen players on Sunday morning.
The field of 78 players included a "who's who" of former champions, but the winners side was whittled down to just eight players on Saturday night. Sunday morning winners side matches will be Al Lapena vs Canadian Tyler Edey, Tony Ruberto vs former US Open Champion Tommy Kennedy, Marlon Manalo vs David Broxson and Stevie Moore vs Jimmy Dempsey.
With all of the firepower that was in this event, it was inevitable that some of the top players would take early trips to the one loss side. Reno Open Champion Richie Orem, BCA Hall of Famer Buddy Hall and Ronnie Wiseman were all eliminated on Saturday. Top seeds still fighting it out on the one loss side include Alex Pagulayan, enjoypool.com 9-Ball Champion Dennis Orcollo, Warren Kiamco, Tony Crosby and Lee Van Corteza.
