The WPBA Website is reporting that Allison Fisher has won the Great Lakes Classic at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, IN.
Fisher went undefeated and now is unbeaten in two straight events.
The big surprise of the event was the play of #13 ranked Tiffany Nelson. Nelson scored wins over Karen Corr, Helena Thornfeldt and Vivian Villarreal to get to the match for the hot-seat where she lost to Fisher. Nelson then defeated Villarreal again on the one-loss side to earn the rematch with Fisher in the finals where she fell short again.
Fisher earned $10,000 for first, while Nelson pocketed $7000 for second. Villarreal and Kelly Fisher filled out the top four spots.
