The WPBA website is reporting that Allison Fisher has defeated Jeanette Lee to win the 2003 Cuetec Cues Women's National 9-Ball Championship at the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City Oregon.
Fisher's win, coupled with Karen Corr's third place finish, will allow Fisher to maintain her 85 point lead over Corr on the WPBA Points List.
This is the third time in four years that Lee has fallen one match short of winning the title at the Women's National 9-Ball Championship. She lost to to Fisher in 2000 and to Corr in 2001.
The win gives Fisher a bit of revenge over Lee after Lee defeated Fisher in the finals of the Ladies Tournament of Champions earlier this month.
