The Mid-Atlantic 9-Ball Championship is now down to 16 players, eight on each side of the board.
The winners side is down to Danny Harriman vs 2002 Player of the Year Francisco Bustamante, Jim Rempe vs Efren Reyes, Mika Immonen vs Young Hwa Jeong and Max Eberle vs Buddy Hall. Bustamante and Reyes are both one win away from the showdown that the fans have been looking for, while Immonen will be playing Jeong who broke and ran the race to five set when they played last (in the Derby City Classic mini-event).
The one loss side is down to Tony Robles vs Ralf Souquet, Rodney Morris vs Rafael Martinez, Johnny Archer vs Luc Salvas and Charlie Williams vs Jose Parica. Robles is coming off another victory over Corey Deuel in his last match while Souquet is coming off an 11-8 win over Neils Feijen where he came out of the gate with a four-pack and never looked back.
