Niels 'The Terminator' Feijen has won the Viking Cue National Championship at Palace Billiards in Villa Park, IL.
Feijen went undefeated including wins over Jeff Abernathy, James Baraks, Earl Strickland and Ike Runnels on his way to the hot-seat.
Frank had a much longer path to tread to get to the finals. Frank lost to Shannon Daulton in the third round of the event, but scored 9 straight wins to get to the finals. During Frank's run on the left side of the board, he eliminated such notables as Shawn Putnam, Jon Kucharo, Earl Strickland and Marco Marquez.
The final match started off close with Frank holding a slim lead at 4-3. Both players kept it close to the very end, when Feijen took control and won 11-7.
Feijen earned $5000 for first place, while Frank settled for $3500 for second. Ike Runnels and Marco Marquez filled out the top four spots.
