Niels Feijen
The $50,000 International Challenge of Champions is underway at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT and Niels Feijen came out of the first match with a win.
Feijen, representing the Netherlands, faced off against 2004 Panamerican Champion Alan Rolon from Puerto Rico. The first set was close, with Feijen pulling out a 5-4 win. Feijen got comfortable in the second set and cruised to a 5-0 win.
The next match will see Japanese star Yoshihiro Kitatani face reigning US Open champion Gabe Owen with Fong Pang Chao vs Corey Deuel and Thomas Engert vs Efren Reyes scheduled for later tonight.
