After the first 2 stops of the Mezz LA 9 Ball Series, Josh Farris has dominated the field and won back-to-back events, pocketing another $500 and picking up 400 more points! He went undefeated for 6 straight matches in a field with several of California’s hard-hitting amateurs, defeating Danny Petralba Memorial Champion Rakesh Bunga (614) in an exciting extended race final, 11-6.
The winner’s side of the field saw advancements by Rhino Lay (561), Tony Garcia (612), and Jeffrey Jamerson (523). Josh Farris reached the hot seat after defeating Jeffrey 7-3. The loser’s side featured strong showings by Chris Wedekind (641), James Harris (600), and Francis Lanag (485).
The loser’s side was won by Rakesh, who took a 3rd round loss to Rhino, only to come back to face Josh in the finals. A great showing by both players who battled all day for an event with over $1700 in cash and prizes!
