Castle Billiards hosted the Blaze 9 Ball Tour Stop #6 with a a strong field of 36 players including such heavy hitters as Evgeny Stalev, Warren Kiamco, Antonio Gabica, Tony Robles, Ignacio Chavez, Scott Sinotti, Matt Krah, Eddie Hodan, and Carmen Lombardo to name a few.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Evgeny Stalev with wins over Scott Freeman 7-5, Eddie Hodan 7-4, Eddie Abraham 7-2, and Warren Kiamco 7-3. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Antonio Gabica with wins over Gypsy 7-4, Ignacio Chavez 7-3, Matt Krah 7-3, Carmen Lombardo 7-2.
Playing for the hot seat was Evgeny Stalev vs Antonio Gabica. This was a great match that went hill-hill. When it was over, it was Evgeny Stalev that came away with the 7-6 win, taking the hot seat and sending Antonio Gabica to the one loss side. Waiting for Antonio Gabica on the one loss side was Warren Kiamco, this was a one sided match with Antonio Gabica running away with the match 6-3 and getting another shot at Evgeny Stalev in the finals.
In the finals it was Antonio Gabica vs Evgeny Stalev. This time Stalev came back from being down 2-0 to running away with the match 9-4.
