The finals of the enjoypool.com 9-Ball Championship are ready to get underway at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada.
The first match will be the ladies finals between defending champion Allison Fisher and 20 year old Austrian Jasmin Ouschan. Fisher rode the winners side to the finals, while Ouschan had an unbelievable run of wins over Dawn Hopkins, Karen Corr, Kelly Fisher, Pamela Treadway, Gerda Hofstatter, Shin-Mei Liu and Helena Thornfeldt to get to the finals. The match between Fisher and Ouschan will be a contrast in styles as Fisher is known for a methodical style while Ouschan is the young gun firing away at almost everything on the table.
Following the ladies match, the men's finals will take place between Ralf Souquet and Johnny Archer. These two players met up for the hot-seat earlier at this event and Archer scored the win in that match. Souquet recovered with a hill-hill win over Efren Reyes on Friday to earn his spot in the finals. This match will be the second straight year that Archer played in the finals and both Archer and Souquet have won this title in the past.
We will have game by game coverage of the finals in the AzBilliards forums.
