The Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour held their second stop of the season at Northfield Billiards in Northfield, OH with a field of 44 players.
Aside from an early hill-hill win over Don Wells, Kevin England cruised relatively untested all day. England took the hot-seat with a 5-2 win over Shayne Morrow. After Morrow eliminated Scooter Goodman 5-1 on the one-loss side, the table was set for a rematch between England and Morrow in the finals. The final match was a little closer than their first meeting, but in the end it was England scoring the 5-3 win for first place.
England earned $580 for first place, while Morrow settled for $400. Goodman and Marty Lawson filled out the top four spots. Local player Curtis Buffington turned in a 5th place finish tied with Aaron Dukes.
The Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour will be at Cornfed Red's in Columbus, OH next Sunday for their next event.
