At the end of day two of the 888.com World Pool Masters, defending champion Thomas Engert is the lone player who has already locked their position in the round of four players.
Engert earned his spot with a 8-7 win over reigning 9-Ball Champion Chia-Ching Wu. Engert won the match by passing on a push-out by Wu in the final game. Wu went for the shot and failed to pocket a ball, leaving Engert with a runnable rack.
The remaining six players looking for their spot in the final four will face off early on Sunday. The matches will be Roman Hybler vs Raj Hundal, Rodney Morris vs Alex Lely and Marcus Chamat vs Alex Pagulayan.
Complete results from all the matches can be found at the official World Pool Masters website.
