Bobbie Emmons bounced back from an early loss to double dip tour director Dennis Orender at the Desert Classic Tour season finale held December 3-5 at Bullshooters in Phoenix, Az.
Orender's Sunday included wins over tour points leader Nick Deleon and then Pete Lhotka for the hot-seat 8-7. Orender had to take pleasure in the win over DeLeon as Orender was Deleon's closest competition on the points list.
After the close loss to Orender for the hot-seat, Lhotka final loss was quick and painless as Emmons crushed him 8-1.
The true double elimination final saw Emmons beat Orender 8-4 and then 8-6 for the win and $1570 in first place prize money. Orender settled for $1000 in second place prize money and the satisfaction of another great season brought to a close on the Desert Classic Tour.
In addition to the $450 prize money for fourth place in this event, Deleon pocketed another $200 a bonus money for being tour points leader.
