The Emerald Coast APA based out of Panama City, Florida has recently teamed up with Mr. 400 himself, John Schmidt. Always the advocate for the betterment of the sport, Schmidt will take on a role as a consultant/advisor to the organization. Schmidt commented that he “firmly believes league play is the future of pool, not to mention an excellent way of honing a player's skills through competition and ultimately a great way to socialize and/or meet new friends.”
Throughout the year, the Emerald Coast APA and Schmidt will offer an added bonus of free lessons to qualified league members who meet a required criteria established by the organization. In addition, Schmidt will be available to assist with exhibitions, lessons, and in general the overall development of league play in the Pensacola area.
With this new alliance, Emerald Coast APA members not only have an opportunity to advance their individual skill set through competitive means and individual instruction possibilities from Schmidt personally, but will have the knowledge of one of the top professional pool players in the United States associated with the organization.
