Tyler Edey
Tyler Edey has cruised undefeated through the field at Stix Billiards in Calgary, Alberta to win the second leg of the Stan James Canadian Nine Ball Tour. He defeated Rob Phillips 11-2 in the final round. Edwin Montal finished in third while DJ McGinley took fourth place.
While Edey went through the field unfeated, it was far from easy. Edey had to overcome three hill-hill matches to get to the hot-seat. Edey beat Jens Reickman 9-8 in his first match of the tournament and defeated Kevin Cardinal 9-8 3 matches later. It was another hill-hill win, this time over Edwin Montal, to get Edey into the hot-seat.
