The Mezz Pro-Am Tour made it way to Mainline Billiards in Frazer Pa on Sunday April 3rd. A strong field of 28 Players came out to play including such notables as Eddie Abraham, Matt Krah, Brett Stottlemyer, Josh Brothers, Mike Miller, Jose Cruz, Joe Hong and Bruce Nagle to name a few.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Bruce Nagle with wins over Jose Burgos 7-5, Jay Brotherton 7-5, Rob Vannatta 7-6 and Josh Brothers 7-6. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Eddie Abraham with wins over Nocholas Jankowski 7-2, Joe Hong 7-3, Matt Krah 7-3 and Mike Lizzio 7-3.
Playing for the hot seat was Bruce Nagle vs Eddie Abraham. This was a good match with Eddie Abraham pulling off the win 7-5 and sending Nagle to the one loss side. Waiting for Bruce Nagle on the one loss side was Josh Brothers. Unfortunately for Nagle, this match had the same results as the hot-seat match with Nagle lossing 7-5.
In the finals it was Josh Brothers vs Eddie Abraham. Brothers would have to defeat Abraham twice for the tournament win, but any chance of that happening disappeared in a hurry as Abraham came out strong and cruised to a 7-1 win in the first and only set of the finals.
