Today, the EPBF announced that Dynamic Billard has agreed to be the Official Table of the 2019 Atlantic Challenge Cup. There will be a practice table for each team and a pristine Dynamic III match table in the arena for these young stars to perform.
The EPBF regulations stipulate tighter pockets for the match tables with the corner set at 110mm +-2mm, equivalent to 4.3 inches. Dynamic Billiards Daniel Koblenz had this to say, “It is our pleasure to support the next generation of pool billiard and help to set up a professional event for the best youth players of both continents will never forget. It is our common responsibility to offer them a platform where they can present themselves and show them a perspective for their future in billiards. The ACC is just the perfect event for this.”
Six U19 players from Europe and six U19’s from America, the best from each Continent, will battle it out to capture the fifth edition of the Atlantic Challenge Cup. Europe will be strong favorites again after dominating this event for the past four years, but the Americans have learned a lot and will be stronger for their experience this time out.
Starting on the 28th November at the BHR Best Western Premier in Treviso, Italy, the Atlantic Challenge Cup will be streamed live on the EPBF social media platforms in its entirety. The EPBF President Gre Leenders said, “I am very delighted that the company Dynamic Billard, as a long- term partner for the Euro Tour events and the European Championships, is again also the Table Sponsor for the 5th Edition of the Atlantic Challenge Cup. The EPBF is looking forward again to this very nice youth event. It is maybe a cliché, but it is the truth that the youth is a category that needs our full intension and I am very glad that our partner(s) see it in the same way. By supporting this event with the high-quality equipment with the Dynamic III table, the company Dynamic Billard GMBH shows once more their great involvement in the European Pool-Billiard Sport.”
Launched by the European Pocket Billiard Federation and the Billiard Congress of America in 2015, the Atlantic Challenge Cup pits the best of youth from Europe and America in a Mosconi Cup style event in a race to 11 with a possible 21 total matches. Six players on each team, four boys and two girls, will battle it out to see who will have the bragging rights across the Atlantic.
The event will be shown in its entirety live on the EPBF social media channels with more information to follow.
