Down to Four at Predator International

We began the day with 16 players in Manila but with single elimination the format were down to the final four heroes in only two rounds. Liu Hai Tao of China will face Mika Immonen in Semi #1 while Wu Jia Qing (Wu Chia Ching) will do battle with Dennis Orcullo of the Philippines.

Liu arrived here by knocking out Darren Appleton in a thriller 10-9 and then slipping past Philipp Stojanovic 10-8. Stojanovic had beaten Ronnie Alcano 10-9 in the round of sixteen. Mika arrived here courtesy of a narrow win over Chris Melling 10-9 and then over Roberto Gomez 10-7.

Wu first destroyed Thorsten Hohmann 10-5 and then edged past Efren Reyes 10-9 to punch his ticket while Dennis Orcullo practiced against Jundel Mazon 10-2 and then Ramil Gallego 10-3 to find himself the final seat in the train of four.
