Thank you to Snookers in Providence, RI for hosting the 5th stop of the “Rack ‘EM Up” New England 9 Ball Tour. Also, thank you to all of the players who helped make another full field possible. Now for the results:
Choneyi Tenzin, Andy Maynard, Jason Manos, and DJ Hopkins stole the show, breaking through the winner's bracket to be the final four. Tenzin and Hopkins defeated Maynard and Manos, respectively, to get to the hot seat match. Hopkins defeated Tenzin in order to claim the hot seat.
Meanwhile, on the one loss side, after losing to Jason Manos, Josh Gormly continued to work his way through the field defeating: Bobby Royer, Dan Tankerley, Tony Masi, and Terry Keith. He met up with Manos again and fell to the same fate. Gormly finished 5th/6th. Norm Lemeiux was making a similar trek on the one loss side defeating: Todd Nevins, Ryan Parker, and Andy Maynard until he also fell victim to Manos. Lemeiux finished in 4th place.
The last three players all happened to be carpool buddies: Jason Manos, Choneyi Tenzin, and DJ Hopkins all came ready and prepared with their game faces on. They finished 3rd, 2nd, and 1st respectively, making for a very happy ride home! Congratulations to our tournament winner DJ Hopkins.
Also congratulations to our lucky player who won both the break and run raffles: Ed Boyle. Also to our raffle winner Chris Arnold who won the 300 chip poker set with case, cards, and dealer button.
