The Richmond Billiard Tour held a handicapped 9-ball tournament at The Playing Field in Richmond, Virginia on December 20th. While the field was smaller than expected, there was no shortage of talent and intrigue at this event.
Anthony Glott made himself the man to beat with an undefeated run through the field into the finals. His opponent in the finals, Jim Dickerson, had already survived a few close scares during the day, but still made it to the finals against Glott.
With Glott's dominating play in this one, fans expected him to go ahead and capture the gold. But Dickerson had other plans as he played great and took advantage of a couple lucky rolls to defeat Glott and win the event.
Dickerson earned $230 for first, while Glott settled for $70 in second place prize money.
The players all expressed their thanks to The Playing Field staff for hosting another great event.
