Day three is complete at the Reno Open and the field is now down to just 112 players.
The match of the night on Thursday saw Corey Deuel facing off against Louie Ulrich. Ulrich took a quick 3-0 lead in the match, but that was all Ulrich would manage as Deuel rode his soft break to nine straight games and a 9-3 win. Deuel will face Stan Tourangeau on Friday evening. Ulrich defeated Phillip Wilson on the one loss side and will face Jui-Lung Chen on Friday.
Other players still fighting on the one loss side include Edwin Montal, Tyler Edey, Max Eberle, Frankie Hernande and Leonardo Andam.
Winners side matches on Friday will include Gabe Owen vs Adam Smith and Jeff Gregory vs Ronnie Wiseman.
