The 5th Annual Derby City Classic is underway at the Executive West Hotel in Louisville, KY with more than 330 players competing in the bank pool event that got started on Friday.
While some of the top 9-ball players are not competing in the Bank Pool event, the field includes such names as 2001 Bank Pool winner Jose Parica, 2000 Bank Pool Winner Shannon Daulton, Nick Varner, Cliff Joyner, Scott Frost, Troy Frank, Corey Deuel and 2002 Derby City 9-Ball Champion Mika Immonen.
The mini-events don't get underway until Saturday night when the mini event will be 9-ball.
