The Derby City Classic 9-Ball event will now carry WPA ranking points as well as the national BCA points that it has carried for several years. This development means that players can mount campaigns to get international invitations via the WPA as well as through the BCA. Players were awarded both point sets for the recent Turning Stone event and now this is their second opportunity here in the states to gain ground in both rankings.
