Josh Degler scored an impressive tournament win at the SE Open 9-Ball Tour Stop at the Orlando Billiard Center in Orlando, FL.
Degler went undefeated and took the hot-seat with a 9-4 win over Adam Smith on the winners side.
Wheeler dropped to the one-loss side where Richard Broumpton was knocking them down after a Saturday loss to Tommy Kennedy. Broumpton made quick work of Wheeler with a 9-2 win.
The finals went to hill-hill with both players unwilling to give an inch, but in the end it was Degler with the 11-10 win.
Degler earned $760 for first, while Broumpton pocketed $500 for second. Wheeler and John Demet filled out the top four spots. The $50 top junior bonus went to Justin Gilsinan and the $50 top female bonus was split between Jennifer Nelson and Courtney Borge.
Tour director Tommy Kennedy had nothing but compliments for the room and it's owner Mike House. House has redone the room completely from when it used to be called Pro Billiards. With the main room a 'no-smoking' room, the fans were very comfortable all night long.
The SE Open 9-Ball Tour will be at Sevierville Billiard Club & Grill in Sevierville,TN next weekend for their next event.
