In Georgia another Kings Bay Promotions and Sterling Gaming event was held at The Pool Room in Marietta with 27 players. Paco Chacon put David Trest to the west side while Kevin Yates steadily battled his way through the winner's side. Trest was in 4 consecutive hill-hill matches during his one loss side journey defeating Te'Jay Cottman, Darin Brewer, Jeff Clarks and Paco Chacon, who had put him to the loser's side in identical 5-4 scores. In the final match Trest took a 4 game lead against Yates only to have Yates play catch up bringing the score 6-6. Trest kept his cool and came back to beat Yates in a 9-6 lead. David Trest took 1st place, 2nd place went to Kevin Yates, 3rd place to Paco Chacon, 4th place to Jeff Clark, and 5th/6th went to Darin Brewer, Jesse Middlebrooks.
The Pool Room located in Marietta, Georgia is a room that is every pool players dream. All the woodwork is custom made out of Oak and African Paducah. Throughout the room in inlays are 52 little pool cues with Ivory and Oak. The room holds 29-9' tables, 1-12'x6' English Snooker Table, and 3 big screen TV's for viewing your favorite sports and shows. Around the tournament area is a 40 ft bar for seating to separate the spectators from the pool players. This is definitely a room to view. For more information just call the room at (770) 579-3388.
