The Blaze 9 Ball Tour Stop # 14 was held by Comet Billiards in NJ. Special thanks to Bill Haley for hosting the event. A strong field of 33 came out to play including players like points leader Matt Krah, Rob Pole, Liz Ford, Erin Mcmanus, Bucky Souvanthong, Mark Vidal and David Abraham.
Leading the top half of the bracket was David Abraham with wins over Stosh Benton 7-1, Keith Christman 7-2, Brian Cap 7-2, and Robert Pole 7-5. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Mark Vidal with wins over Nick Restivo 7-2, Gordon R 7-1, Bucky Souvanthong 7-3, and Ryan Smith 7-2.
Playing for the hot seat was David Abraham vs Mark Vidal. This was a good match that went down to the end, but when it was all said and done it was David Abraham pulling it off with a 7-5 win and sending Mark Vidal to the one loss side. Waiting for Mark Vidal on the one loss side was Bucky Souvanthong. This was a one sided match with Bucky Souvanthong running away with the match 6-3.
In the finals it was David Abraham vs Bucky Souvanthong. This too was a one sided match. It was David Abraham and his strong break taking control of the match and winning easily 7-2.
