While the early matches on day one of the UPA World Summit of Pool contained very few upsets, the evening matches were full of upsets as the one loss side is now full of top players.
Tony Crosby followed up his 11-5 afternoon win over Steve Lillis with an 11-7 win over Charlie Williams to send Williams to the left side of the board.
Bill Ferguson had a great day with wins over reigning US Open champion Gabe Owen and Jose Parica. Ferguson will face Andreas Roshkowski on Wednesday.
Both last year's winner Santos Sambajon and runner up Mike Davis both lost matches on Tuesday. Other top players who will find themselves on the one-loss side when they get started Wednesday include Rodney Morris, Tony Chohan, Marlon Manalo, Shawn Putnam, John Schmidt, Jeremy Jones and George San Souci.
Complete brackets for the event are online and will be updated until a winner is crowned on Friday.
