Week two (December 6th) at Felt Billiards in Commack, New York, saw Craig Seale come out on top of the fifteen-player field. The day started out the same as the first tournament for the venue with practice at 12:30 pm and play beginning an hour later. This time around, players such as Alex Plapinov and Evan Broxmeyer threw their names in the hat, but APA 6 rated player Craig Seale was the only one that came out of the single elimination battle.
Seale began with a Bye, a win over Alex Plapinov and then moved on to best Joey Apples. Apples needed five to Seale's seven games, but Seale kept him just short of his goal, besting him 7-3. His eventual finals competition, Mike Cohen, was coming down the pike as well with victories over Mike Ozario, Mike Strappoli, and Evan Broxmeyer – keeping last week's champ running the event and nothing more.
Broxmeyer was rated a ten for the event and after winning his first two rounds, had to beat Cohen by nine whereas Cohen only needed four. Cohen had him stuck 3-0, but Broxmeyer pulled together six racks to up the score. It would be a safety battle in the final rack, but Broxmeyer couldn't hold him off and lost 7-4.
The finals ended up being close – Cohen needed four games to Seale's seven – always tough to give up weight, but he didn't look back and walked away with the win at 7-2.
