With a 6-4 and 6-5 win over Helena Thornfeldt in the finals, Karen Corr has won the Women's Pro Players Championship at the Super Billiards Expo in Valley Forge, PA.
Corr was undefeated in the round robin portion of the event, including a 6-3 6-3 win over Thornfeldt. Thornfeldt qualified for the final match with 12 sets won, giving her the second best record in the event.
Corr pocketed $5000 for the win, while Thornfeldt settled for $3000 in second place prize money. Belinda Campos and Monica Webb filled out the top four spots.
