Corr defeated Fisher in the finals again
Karen Corr came from the one loss side again to win another WPBA Classic Tour event over Allison Fisher in the finals. This is the fifth WPBA Classic Tour win for Karen this season, and her third consecutive event where she lost in the winners side final match, only to come back from the one loss side and win in the finals.
Gerda Hofstatter finished in third place, her best Classic Tour finish since her win at the BCA Open 9-Ball Championship in May of 2000. Helena Thornfelt finished in fourth after losing her first match of the event and winning her next 7 matches in a row before a 7-6 loss to Hofstatter.
The win earned Corr $7,500 while Fisher settled for $5,500 in second place money. The win also gives Corr a 135 point lead on the WPBA point list. Jeanette Lee moved into third on the points list by way of her 5th place finish in the event.
