“Cash Money” Corey Deuel and Gabe “The Babe” Owen have teamed up and are taking their championship skills on the road with their new “2007 Champions Exhibition Tour”. These two highly skilled champions of pool are now taking bookings from Pool Halls and other billiard related industries across the country that would want them to put on their fun and informative exhibition in their venue.
Owen says “Our stops will consist of Corey and I offering exhibitions in 8-Ball and/or 9-Ball, photo and autograph sessions, challenge the pro sessions and more. This is a great way for us to get out and visit with fans of the game and offer instructional lessons. We'll also be demonstrating shots that you may not often see in tournaments. People can learn many aspects of most every game.”
Deuel is known for his phenomenal shot-making. He is the 2001 U.S. Open 9-Ball Champion, Player of the Year-2001, 2004 U.P.A. Tour Champion, Derby City Classic Ring Game Champion, 2002 Atlanta Pro Open Champion, on the recent 2006 Mosconi Cup team. Deuel currently holds a spot in the top 10 of the IPT tour. He is also player representative for the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
Owen is known for his master-mind strategy moves when playing. He won the US Open 9-Ball Tournament in 2004, and was a member of the 2004 Mosconi Cup Championship Team. He made it to the final table at the 2004 Texas Hold Em 9-Ball Tournament, is 2X winner of the Texas State Open, 2X winner of the Kansas State Open, 2X winner of the Corpus Christi Classic, 3X winner of the Houston Open, and in the top 20 of the IPT. He is player representative for Mueller Recreational Products and has his own line of custom cues, ‘Gabe Owen Cues'.
Both players have often appeared on ESPN, FoxSports and OLN/Versus TV as well as in national billiard magazines.
Deuel and Owen are now filling limited dates beginning in February of 2007.
