Colorado State Junior 9-ball Championships

The 3rd annual Colorado Junior State 9-ball Championships will be held Saturday, September 27th, 2008 at the Wynkoop Brewing Company located at 1634 18th Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202.

Kids ages 8-19 can participate in this prestigious handicapped event. The handicaps will be as follows:

8-11 years of age will race to 5
12-15 years of age will race to 7
16-19 years of age will race to 9

Formats will be double elimination, 9-ball, three-foul rule, alternate break, and entry fees will be $25 in state & $30 out-of-state. Doors open at 10 AM for “free practice” and tournament will begin at 12 PM.

Prizes:
1st place: $500 “build your own cue” sponsored by Jacoby Custom Cues, custom rack sponsored by Delta-13, and trophy

2nd place: Custom rack & trophy

3rd place: Custom rack & trophy

Every participant will receive a subscription to “Pool and Billiard Magazine”

Highest finishing 14 and under will receive an Ernie Martinez Custom Cue and highest finishing female will receive a trophy.

Players like, young guns Pueblo player, DJ Trujillo and, new WPBA hopeful Nicole Keeney are the two past winners. This year's champion will hopefully become the next Colorado's star like the other two have become.
