With the forecast calling for 12 to 18 inches of snow, the NYC Tour was forced to play their stop this weekend at Leisure Time Billiards in Levittown New York in just one day. Top seeds in attendance included Flaco Rodriguez, Jarrod Clowery, Lenny Favata, Slim Carney, Tom Walter and Evan Broxmeyer.
The winners side moved along pretty quickly with Flaco Rodriguez taking the hot-seat with a 9-3 win over Slim Carney.
On the one loss side, Jarrod Clowery was setting them up and knocking them down. After a loss to Slim Carney, Clowery scored wins over Evan Broxmeyer, Holden Chin, Tom Walter and Carney on the one-loss side to set up the extended single elimination match with Rodriguez in the finals.
In the finals, Flaco came on strong and raced to a 6-1 lead. Clowery came back and knotted the match at 10-10 and didn't stop there as he won the next three games for the 13-10 win over Rodriguez.
Clowery collected $880 for first, while Rodrigeuz settled for $440. Carney and Walter filled out the top four spots.
