Carol Clark went undefeated to win the New England Women's Classic 9-Ball Tour at Renaissance Club in Quincy MA over the weekend.
Clark took the hot-seat with a 7-4 win over Caroline Pao. Pao led the match 4-1, but Clark took a break and regrouped and then came back and won six straight games for the win.
In the match between Pao and Stacey Lantz on the one-loss side, Pao once again took a 4-1 lead but a miss on the 8-ball in rack six turned out to be a critical error. From that point, Lantz controlled the match and won 7-5.
The final match between Lantz and Clark was back and forth early with both players putting on a show. Midway through the match, Clark again took a break and regrouped herself and then came out to controlt he match and won 7-4.
The win earned Clark $110 in prize money, while Lantz settled for $85. Pao and Melanie Balisano filled out the top four spots.
