Hard Times Billiards in Sacramento wants to remind everyone that the 4th Annual Chuck Markulis Memorial Jamboree is rapidly approaching. From its inception in 2008, the Jamboree has proven to be one of the most popular and well attended events on the west coast.
Held in honor of former Hard Times owner Chuck Markulis, this year's Jamboree will feature One Pocket and 9 Ball divisions, low entry fees, 100% payback with no green fees, and guaranteed added money. With full fields expected in both events and entries already rolling in, be sure to sign up before it's too late to be part of this 5 day pool extravaganza.
The entry fee for the One Pocket event is $40 and sign ups close at 12 noon on Thursday, October 6. The field is limited to 64 players. The format is double elimination race to 2, and the finals will be a single race to 4. Hard Times will add $2000 with a full field.
The entry fee for the 9 Ball main event is $50 and sign ups close at 12 noon on Saturday, October 8. The field is limited to 160 players. The format is double elimination, race to 8 on the winner side and 7 on the one loss side. The finals will be a single race to 11. Hard Times will add $4000 guaranteed.
