Tournament favorites Billy Palmer, George Michaels, and Robert Zack all stubbed their toes early Saturday afternoon and were grinding out their wins on the one-loss side late Saturday night.
A light field of 52 players was narrowed down to 12, all in the money, to return Sunday morning.
Local pro Chris MacDonald balanced out the center the winner's bracket. All players appeared to be having a great time, although Larry Cummings was particularly elated when he faced Martinez first thing this morning and was able to earn 6 games off Raffy before the conclusion of the set.
