On Friday, June 3, 2011, On Cue Billiards at 8308 Parkway Drive in La Mesa will host a scotch-doubles charity tournament and raffle fundraiser to benefit Rady Children's Hospital of San Diego.
The tournament is open to 40 teams and is being produced in conjunction with the Southern California Ladies 9-Ball Tour by professional player Melissa Herndon.
Entry fee (per two person team) is $50 and includes entry into the tournament, free hors d'oeuvres, a participant gift bag, and two free raffle tickets per player. Raffle prizes include clothing from local boutiques, a golf bag/accessory package from Dole Foods, and various pool items, such as cues, cases, etc.
The doors open at 7 p.m. for practice and check-in at 8 p.m. The tournament will begin with welcome remarks and the introduction of a Rady Children's patient family. The winning team will receive a cash prize and trophies.
Non-tournament tickets are available for a $10 donation. These tickets include free hors d'oeuvres, raffle participation and challenge matches with WPBA Pro Melissa Herndon. Space is limited! For tickets please contact On Cue Billiards 619-463-8759 or Melissa Herndon 818-314-7401.
