The 2023 Carom Cafe International Open is now down to its final eight, with half of the remaining field made up for American players.
Four Americans remain in the field for the Quarterfinal matches, Pedro Piedrabuena, Tae Kyu Lee, Ricardo Carranco, and Hugo Patino. Semih Sidhom will face Alexander Salazar, the sole Colombian player remaining, and Tayfun Tasdemir will get the chance to avenge his only loss of the event, as he faces Ricardo Carranco again. Luis Aveiga will play Patino and it will be Piedrabuena against Salazar.
